CSA Week #7
We are busy finishing up The Farm Store and hoping to open in August! Some last minute "red tape" has delayed our opening- but we are set to be opening very soon. Please stay tuned. We can't wait to share our new place with all of you!
In other farm news, we are "Summer busy" - long hot days, an abundance of produce to harvest and sell, and flowers traveling all over the Portland area to our New Seasons Market accounts. Tell your Portland people to look for our Organic flowers! And don't forget to come check out our market booths if you get a chance! It's a great place and time to stock up on berries, tomatoes, and beans right now! Hope you are all enjoying your veggies and summers!

Szechuan Green Beans

2 tablespoons sesame oil

1 teaspoon minced
1⁄4 teaspoon
, to taste
Place a medium-large wok or heavy deep skillet over medium high heat. After a minute, add the oil.
Wait a minute or so, and add the green beans.
Turn the heat to high and stir fry for about 5 minutes, or until the beans are well seared.
Add the garlic, salt, and ginger (and optional red pepper).
Stir-fry for several more minutes, then remove from heat.
Serve hot, warm, or at room temperature.
